Extra Days Available

In Manager's Advantage, an "extra day available" is treated the exact opposite of a vacation day. Instead of making an employee unavailable for that day, it makes them available for the full day.

A good example of why this would be useful would be to consider a student who is normally unavailable to work Mondays, but can come to work on Easter Monday because classes have been cancelled. To enter this student's availability into the schedule you can continue to leave them as unavailable for work on Mondays, while entering the date of the one Monday they are available to work.

You enter the dates to be used as extra days available exactly the same way as you did with vacation days.

Note: An "extra day available" will override the availability entered in the days of the week as well as any vacation, personal or lieu days.
